Here at FBC Carlsbad, we are committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ in our community and worldwide. Our church has a passion for missions, and we work with many organizations, missionaries, and other individuals in Carlsbad and around the world.

State & National Missions
New Mexico Baptist Disaster Relief
NMBDR, in close collaboration with NM churches, Emergency Managers, the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, FEMA, and the Department of Homeland Security, offers a diverse range of services. These include mass feeding, storm clean-up, emergency communications, childcare, and crisis intervention, ensuring comprehensive support in times of disaster.
Our church has many Disaster Relief members who have helped on deployments throughout the United States.
Christian Challenge is the Baptist Convention of New Mexico's collegiate ministry. It is coordinated through the BCNM Collegiate Ministries Office and conducts ministry on campuses across New Mexico.
Through this ministry, students can connect to other like-minded believers and grow their faith together. Students can also go on mission trips across the globe. We have financially supported FBC Carlsbad students who have gone on these missions to actively bring the gospel to unreached places across the state, nation, and internationally.
International Missions
Kit & Stacy Klein | International Mission Board Missionaries in Lille, France
Kit and Stacy, along with their children, serve as missionaries in France. They are members of First Baptist Carlsbad, and we support them and their work in France directly by partnering with them on mission trips and through the IMB Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Belize
We have a mission team that travels to Belize to help show the love of Christ to people through outreach and maintenance work with churches. Workers can help with roofing facilities, plumbing, and painting, among other things. Our church is very passionate about assisting the church in Belize!
